Retail
This is a budget product and is targeting budget consumers and mid market consumers who wants to purchase and android tv but doesn’t want to spend a lot of money. TechSceneZA managed to purchase the tv for R3999 on takealot but it can retail anywhere from R4799 to R5300
Right out the box you might think this is not worth the money as the picture given off from the TV is flat and unappealing which we also experienced. We changed and modified the video setting and that resulted in amazingly crisp image. The TV remote is sleek and simplistic. The buttons on the remote features of the buttons that you would want on your remote but also has the feel of extra unwanted buttons. The TCL 43″ FHD Android TV does a good job shining for budget and mid market consumers with its cheap price range and features. For the price it works quite well although it tends to be a little slow and laggy from time to time.
