Skyworth Leap-S1 Smartbox
The Skyworth Leap-S1 is a Google certified android streaming box. It is built in with an almlogic S905X2 quadcore processor. It has UBS 2.0 and 3.0 ports, HDMI 2.1 and 8 gigabytes of internal storage. It runs on android 10 and has a R900 built-in chromecast.
The Skyworth retails from R1000 to R1100 in Makro, Incredible connection and most massmart retailers.
The box is very small and has virtually no impact setup anywhere. All you have to do is plug in your HDMI and power, then set it up.
Installation
- Pair remote with android box
- Select language preference
- You can either choose to set up the box with your phone or you can set it up manually
Once you’ve completed the installation the box would be setup and ready to go.
Besides the remote having the usual power, source, home, back and volume buttons. It has YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime video and a google play hot button. The buttons have an amazing feel. The remote also has a built in google voice assistant.
It is simple to setup and that is it. I like that it is Google certified, which allows you to install something like DSTV now, something you would find on the Google play store. This is an option to convert an ‘older’ unsmart TV and bring it right up to scratch with a TV that was released recently. You are paying a decent price for this box so you know it wouldn’t pack up after 6 months.
Admiring the time and energy you put into your blog and in depth information you present. It’s awesome to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same out of date rehashed information. Wonderful read! I’ve saved your site and I’m adding your RSS feeds to my Google account.
Very good post.Much thanks again. Fantastic.
It’s a lovely tv box, I have no complaints about the Skyworth tv box but I do have a question concerning my remote control, it does not seem to have power anymore even though I’ve changed the batteries, nothing seems to be happening, is there any way of resetting the remote in order for it to start working again
Have you managed go sort your remote? Mine does work volume anymore?
