When looking at the technical specifications the video output for 4K TV stick is as titled 4K while the Mi TV Stick has a 1080p resolution. The Mi TV stick 4k has a Quadcore Cortex A55 and the Mi TV stick has a Quad-core Cortex-A53. When it comes to GPU the 4K TV stick has a ARM Mali-G31 MP2 while the Mi TV supports a ARM Mali-450. In terms of Wi-Fi the 4K TV stick supports Wi-Fi 6 while the Mi TV stick supports Wi-Fi 5. Looking at Bluetooth the 4K TV stick supports 5.2 and the Mi TV stick supports 4.2. Looking at memory the 4K TV stick has 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage and the Mi TV stick has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. In terms of operating system the 4K TV stick runs Android 11 where the Mi TV stick runs Android 9.
The 4K TV stick retails around R1100 while the Mi TV stick retails around R700. When comparing these 2 devices the Mi TV stick has one up on the 4K TV stick in terms of pricing being around R300 cheaper. Besides pricing the 4K TV stick dominates in terms of display, processing, storage and operating system. If your able to fork out another R300 extra you’ll be happy to have that flat 4K throught your TV but even without both devices give entertainment to your home.
