How to read Whatsapps on your PC

Whatsapp has come a very far way from what it use to be back in the day, where it was just for sending messages and they have incorporated so much more features like the status feature and reaction feature. Accessing Whatsapp on your PC was available from around 2016. Many people still don’t know about it and don’t utilize this function.

Whatsapp can be accessed in two different ways:

1. Web browser
   All you have to do is use https://web.whatsapp.com/ and you can access it as easy as that on any PC or browser. You have to login by scanning the QR code from your phone. All you have to do is open whatsapp, then click on the three dots and go to linked devices. Then go ahead and click link a device and scan the QR code on the page which will log you in and link your phone whatsapp, to the whatsapp on the web browser.
   
   
2. Downloading the executable app
   You can download the whatsapp app from the app store (Microsoft/ Apple) on your laptop or PC. So once it is installed you can use the same login procedure as the web browser and its as easy as that.

This is very convenient for times when you’re in meetings and can’t be distracted by your phone. The one good thing with whatsapp is that if your phone dies or is switched off, whatsapp still stays connected and still works.

With the update of reactions to messages, that has also been introduced to desktop whatsapp, you can react to messages. Even with the rollout of communities, whatsapp groups are allowed to get bigger and you can have more people on a call and even having the feature of admins being able to delete messages and not having to wait for the sender to delete it. Recently whatsapp voice and video calls were introduced to whatsapp desktop so that is something that we look forward to.
