The excitement of Joburg’s incredible Comic Con Africa 2025 is still buzzing in the air, and Cape Town is next!
Capetonians should mark 30 April to 3 May 2026 in their calendars, when the fourth edition of Comic Con Cape Town will be taking over the CTICC2… and the City! It’s going to be THE event of the long weekend, with thousands of fans attending the festival.
From Thursday to Sunday, including the 1 May public holiday on Friday, the CTICC2 will be the epicentre of all things geek. After the massive success of the 2025 Cape Town con, fans can’t wait to see what Comic Con will bring to the Mother City next in 2026.
Hosted by the City of Cape Town, Comic Con Cape Town is an unmissable experience. Tickets sales open on 24 October, with awesome Early Bird specials.
Celebs on Stage
Comic Con Cape Town’s first celeb announcement is incoming next month! Film and series celebs will be live at the con, giving fans the opportunity to hear behind-the-scenes stories from their screen heroes.

Cosplayers unite at Comic Con, with both casual comps and nail-biting regional qualifiers taking place.
