Doritos is back and it’s bigger, louder, and crunchier than ever. In 2025, Comic Con Africa says goodbye to the Crunch Zone and welcomes the bigger and bolder Doritos Crunch Arena. It’s a space packed with non-stop action, non-stop flavour, and more ways to play, win, and experience the crunch than ever before.
TEKKEN 8 Tournament
The Doritos TEKKEN 8 Tournament is where gaming warriors are made. Con-goers will go head-to-head in high-energy battles as their favourite Tekken characters, and there will be two tournaments every day of the con. With real-time scorekeeping flashing across a massive leaderboard in the heart of the Arena, the heat is always on! For gamers who think they have what it takes to climb to the top, they should be warned: the leaderboard changes in a flash and this moment’s champ could be the next moment’s toast. It’s bold, it’s brag-worthy, and it’s your shot to stand a chance to win your share of R10 000 daily. Bring your game face (and don’t forget an extra bag of confidence).
Retro Arcade Zone
Old school is the new cool in the Retro Arcade Zone. Bring the old days back with some classic arcade fun with button-mashing, joystick-slamming goodness. It’s a pixel-powered blast from the past that’ll have you shouting, “just one more round!” Whether you want to relive your youth, or if you’re just now discovering the roots of gaming, this zone is full of nostalgia with a Doritos twist.
Free-to-Play Titles
For the casual gamers, don’t worry because Doritos has got you covered too. Fans can jam their favourite titles in the free-to-play zone: a line-up of today’s hottest games including EAFC25, COD Modern Warfare III, Streetfighter and Fornite, making it the perfect space to game with your squad. Whether you’re in it for fun or trying to settle a long-standing rivalry with your bestie, this is your chance to prove who’s boss.

Ready for the ultimate side quest? Doritos will be giving away a PS5 daily. Scan the QR codes scattered around the show and in the Crunch Arena and be at the Arena every day at 3pm for the live randomised draw – you could be leaving the Con with a console in hand!

Head on over to the Doritos Loaded Truck where you can expect a variety of unique ways to enjoy Doritos through a specialised menu. Try out Doritos as the base for both sweet and savoury snacks to share with your squad, or enjoy a portion all to yourself!
