Vodacom World, South Africa’s unique technology and telecommunications mall, has undergone a significant transformation. Located in Midrand, the redesigned space now offers customers a dynamic, immersive experience with Vodacom’s latest products and services. Originally launched in 1998 and refurbished in 2018, Vodacom World’s 2024 redesign showcases emerging tech trends and innovative ecosystems, making it a testing ground for Vodacom products and services before they hit the market.
TECNO Takes Center Stage
Innovative tech brand TECNO now has a dedicated space within Vodacom World, allowing customers to interact with their latest smartphones, wearables, and accessories. The display features the new SPARK 20 Series, plus wearables like earphones and smartwatches. Visitors can also get a sneak peek at TECNO products not yet available in South Africa, including cutting-edge laptops and foldable smartphones, with TECNO’s team guiding them through this tech journey.

The revamped Vodacom World is not only a retail hub but also a space for hands-on education and exploration. Experience Zones let customers engage with smart home solutions, IoT devices, and other gadgets to see how technology can simplify and enhance daily life.
In addition to personal tech experiences, Vodacom World offers a Business Experience Centre for B2B networking and Connection Labs where startups and SMEs can collaborate and grow. The Activation Arena hosts events, product launches, and exhibits, keeping visitors informed about the future of technology. Small business owners can access affordable solutions across connectivity, cloud hosting, IoT, and more, supporting Vodacom’s shift from a traditional telecommunications provider to a comprehensive tech company.
