Normal network layout is structured as follows you got your layer 1 which is your ISP coming to your ONT. Layer 2 is your gateway which is your central point that connects you out into the internet which would be your Router. Level 3 is your core this is where all the traffic is managed and moved which would be your switch. Layer 4 is your Access which is your devices connecting into the core that’s apart of our network traffic. Layer 5 is any device that connects to the network wired or wirelessly.
