The Samsung S24 Ultra is a fully AI integrated flagship smartphone with the S24 lineup being the worlds first integrated AI smartphone. The S24 ultra has some amazing features but more importantly AI features which is sure to get your mouth watering. So one of the AI features the S24 Ultra has is circle to search which is AI integrated search of any photo you have by holding the home button and then circling it. Another amazing AI feature is the live translate which can translate other languages while the person is talking or it can be translating all kinds of text on your S24 Ultra. The live translate only has a few language models but its only a matter of time until you have your translator going everywhere with you. The S24 Ultra also has a feature called Note assist which is incorporated into Samsung Notes and what it does is that once you press the button it allows you to format your notes however you want, summarise your notes, spell check and fix your notes as well as translating them. The final AI feature the S24 ultra has is the Generative edit which is Samsung’s very own AI powered photoshop.

Being at the fore front of mainstream such a phone is marketed towards people that want the newest freshest smartphone which the Samsung S24 Ultra is definitely a one of. That being said the Samsung 24 Ultra 256G storage model retails between R27500 – R30000, The 512G model retails for R35000 and the 1TB model is unavailable at this moment.
Looking at the S23 and S24 Ultra
Some similarities the S23 and S24 Ultra have is that both are 6.8” in size and both have the dynamic AMOLED screens. Another is that Samsung has been punting its low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LPTO) screen since the S22 which includes the S24 Ultra.
Some differences between the S23 and the S24 Ultra is the S24 Ultra features dimensions of 1,440 x 3,120 versus 1,440 x 3,088 in the S23 Ultra. The S24 Ultra is flatter and the screen is noticeably less curved. The S24 Ultra handset is also made up of titanium. There’s also the fact that the S24 Ultra is an AI Integrated smart phone which the S23 is not. The S24 Ultra also has an increased brightness of 2,600 nits in S24 against 1,750 nits. Samsung has swapped out the 10MP f/4.9 periscope telephoto lens for a 50MP f/3.4 replacement in the S24 Ultra. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is able to shoot 4K video at 120fps where as the S23 Ultra could only shoot at 60fps.
The S24 Ultra is the first step into a line of smart phones that change the way we look at smart phones and this bridges the gap of the fantasy like devices we see in movies.
