Calling all cosplayers! Telkom VS Gaming is bringing the Next Gen Squad to Comic Con Africa 2026 and giving fans the chance to step into character and compete for a share of R30,000 in cash prizes.
Taking place on Saturday, 26 September at the Comic Con Africa Main Stage, the Next Gen Squad Cosplay Competition challenges fans to bring one of the squad’s four characters to life: S-Tech, Vibey Val, Mobile Mo, or Lucky Lou.
Whether you’re all about S-Tech, match Vibey Val’s energy, see yourself as Mobile Mo or want to try your hand at Lucky Lou, pick your character, put together your best interpretation and get ready to take the stage.
A panel of judges will assess each cosplay on elements including overall look and presentation, creativity, character interpretation, stage presence and overall impact.
The top three entries will walk away with:
- First place: R12,500
- Second place: R10,000
- Third place: R7,500
Registration is free and open to Comic Con Africa attendees aged 13 and older.

Participants must have their own valid Comic Con Africa ticket for the day of the competition (Saturday 26 September 2026). Entries are limited, so fans are encouraged to register early to secure their chance to take the stage.
Registration closes at 18:00 on Friday, 25 September 2026, unless otherwise communicated by Telkom.
