TechSceneZA is adding the D-Link R15 to our home network and will show you why you should be doing the same. The D-Link R15 is part of the D-Links Eagle Pro AI range and is an AX1500 smart router. This is a full router and comes with full router capabilities when compared to mesh routers like the D-Link M15.

The D-Link R15 is a Wi-Fi 6 router and is capable of connecting up to 128 devices while be ideal for 4K video streaming, VR gaming, video calling and maintaining awesome connection to all connected devices. The D-Link R15 comes equipped with AI convenience which is the ability to improve and optimize your network automatically while also maintaining the function of being able to be turned on and off.

The overall design of the D-Link R15 is emphasizing its simplistic core. It’s designed with some new age sharp corners and symmetrical indents. The Top has a wide area of ventilation which is mirrored at the bottom. At the bottom it also has 2 clip on holes which you can fit 2 screws, mount it on the wall and adjust the antennas.

The D-Link R15 is targeted towards mid to high end consumers more specifically people that are looking to maximise their Wi-Fi internet connection, speed and more control over the functionality of their routers. While that being said entry level Networkers and ordinary people can still benefit from this router even though it might not be used to its maximum potential. The D-Link R15 retails between R900 – R1000.

One of the good points D-Link has is that the user face is so easy and simple that allows you move without getting lost in configuring your network. The set up is fairly easy and straight foward with no hassles and confusion. The D-Link R15 is a full router that gives you full control over your network through its features and functionality. It also blends seamlessly into a mesh network especially if you have other D-Link products like the M15 giving you a wider coverage and more optimized network.
