Innovative, AI-driven, technology brand TECNO is this week welcoming South Africans to a new era of mobile excellence, with the unveiling of two new smartphone series.
Planned for Comic Con Africa in Johannesburg, TECNO will be showcasing its latest devices, which are the SPARK 40 Series and the POVA 7 Series. The SPARK 40 represents a newer evolution of the popular SPARK 20 Series, introduced to South Africa last year. Meanwhile, the introduction of the POVA 7 Series is a major milestone, as it is the debut of the POVA range in South Africa.
Designed for the next generation of users, POVA 7 Series combines futuristic, minimalist, and premium aesthetics with next-level AI capabilities and high-performance hardware tailored for immersive gaming and all-day entertainment.
“With the POVA 7 Series, we’re delivering not just raw power, but intelligent power that adapts to our users’ real-world needs – from seamless gaming experience to immersive entertainment and AI-enhanced creativity,” said Jack Guo, General Manager of TECNO. “It definitively establishes new benchmarks not just in performance, but in trend-tech aesthetics – redefining what a smartphone can achieve through the fusion of advanced technology and contemporary style.”
The series locally will feature two devices, the POVA 7 5G and the POVA 7 Pro 5G.
Featuring flagship-grade AMOLED displays, robust performance, long-lasting battery life, and much more, the smartphones in the SPARK 40 Series boast impressive tech while being price-conscious.
All SPARK 40 Series devices are built with IP64-rated water and dust resistance, stressing the everyday durability of the devices, and all offer a lightweight feel without sacrificing toughness.
The series locally will feature four devices, the SPARK 40, SPARK 40C, SPARK 40S, and SPARK 40 Pro.
If you’re attending the Comic Con Africa event in Johannesburg this week, pay a visit to the TECNO exhibition located at stand A512 in Hall 5. You will be one of the first to get a look at and hands-on feel of the new POVA 7 Series and SPARK 40 Series devices. If you cannot attend the event, check TECNO South Africa’s social media pages for pictures, videos, and updates.
The unveiling of the POVA 7 Series and SPARK 40 Series follows on from the recent arrival of the SPARK Go 2S in the country; an affordable smartphone that boasts some impressive features and specs. It is available from TFG stores (availability varies per store, and while stocks last. E&OE).
TECNO’s new POVA 7 Series and SPARK 40 Series devices will be available from select retail partners in the coming weeks, including Ackermans, Dunns, Edgars, Game, HiFi Corp, Jet, Makro, Mr Price, PEP, Pick n Pay, Shoprite, TFG, Vodacom, and Woolworths (availability varies per retailer, per product, per store, and while stocks last.
