Johannesburg – 08 October 2025 Innovative, AI-driven, technology brand TECNO is bringing energy, innovation, and inspiration to campuses across South Africa this October with a series of vibrant university visits designed to connect with young tech users and showcase the brand’s latest cutting-edge devices.
The TECNO University Tour will visit some of the country’s most dynamic higher education institutions, including University of Pretoria, University of Johannesburg, Rosebank College, Eduvos (Cape Town and Johannesburg campuses), Vega School (Cape Town), and University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). Other universities are still being confirmed as TECNO looks to further expand its reach.
These visits aim to immerse students in the world of TECNO through interactive experiences, exciting giveaways, and device demonstrations. Students will have the chance to get hands-on with TECNO’s latest smartphones, including those in the new SPARK 40 Series and POVA 7 Series; experience the brand’s innovative AI technologies firsthand; and learn more about how TECNO empowers creativity, productivity, and self-expression.

TECNO’s new POVA 7 Series devices will be available from Vodacom stores in the coming weeks for recommended retail prices of R10,999 for POVA 7 5G and R12,999 for POVA 7 Pro 5G.
SPARK 40 Series devices are available from select retail partners including Dunns, Edgars Game, HiFi Corp, Jet, Mr Price, TFG, and Vodacom (availability varies per retailer, per product, per store, and while stocks last.
