Comparing the Skyworth Leap S2 and the Xiaomi 4K TV Stick

As you can see the Skyworth Leap S2 and the Xiaomi 4K TV Stick are both very similar but there is one crucial difference and that is support. The Skyworth has no support in South Africa unlike Xiaomi. With Xiaomi we have local distributors like Syntech that take responsibility for these devices should anything go wrong with them you have the support to fix or replace Xiaomi devices and unfortunately that’s not the case for Skyworth products.

The output video is amazing and like all other android sticks the entertainment options are plentiful. The Xiaomi 4K TV Stick showcases simple with its easy to set up options, elementary remote and very little to no problems. Upon testing and some feedback we did experience volume problems which seem to be a common occurrence. Don’t fret if you do experience drops in volume or no volume at all as this could mean by accident you’ve dropped the stick volume and not the tv volume. Simply theres 2 volume options on the remote the regular volume control as you see and the hidden stick volume control which can be accessed by holding the back button and the volume buttons.

We can only give the Xiaomi 4K TV Stick a 9/10 for its enhanced usability, portability and simplicity. We recommend spending a R100 or R200 more for the Xiaomi 4K TV Stick as it will give you an amazing entertainment experience.
