The global tech leader has joined forces with Bayanda Walaza, the youngest South African Olympic medallist and a celebrated figure in South African sport.

Bayanda Walaza: A Blazing Beacon of Inspiration

Bayanda Walaza, has rapidly ascended to prominence in the world of athletics. At just 18 years old, he secured a silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics as part of South Africa’s 4×100 meters relay team, becoming the first South African to win an Olympic medal whilst still in high school.

In the same year, Bayanda showcased his exceptional talent at the World Athletics U20 Championships in Lima, Peru, clinching gold in both the 100 meters and 200 meters events. His personal bests stand at 10.13 seconds for the 100 meters and 20.34 seconds for the 200 meters, both achieved in Pretoria in 2024.
